最近愛上針織，剛好在Fashionista上面看到這位年輕的針織設計師，當然要來好好介紹一下。
Lindsay Degen三歲時在祖母的教學下學會針織，從RSID(羅德島設計學院)畢業後，更到倫敦的聖馬丁學院深造，回到紐約有了自己的工作室。

最著名的作品合作是和Victoria's Secret在每年眾多名模聚集的VS大秀上面的合作。名模們除了穿著VS的內衣當然還要一些配件來裝扮，Degen的作品就在這場大秀上讓名模們不止性感還展現活力熱情的一面。

I'm fond of knitting recently, and just saw the article in Fashionista introducing young designer Lindsay Degen. I definitely need to share here.
Her grandmother taught her how to knit when she was three and then a life of knitting just started. Graduated from RSID and famous Central Saint Martin in London. She started her own studio in Brooklyn.
The most famous collaboration of Degen is with Victoria's Secret. Who can resist this marvelous, sexy models event, Look at the these pictures. Degen with VS making the models sexy and cute.

除了VS以外，還和每人必備的converse也有合作，穿鞋要穿襪，針織當然少不了。
Besides, Degen also works with our favorite shoe brand Converse.

和這麼多知名品牌合作的年輕設計師是怎麼開始的呢?
一開始創業最重要的是基金，年輕的她要怎麼籌到基金呢?

第一筆創業基金居然來自TJ maxx(美國知名廉價連鎖店)的廣告模特兒收入US$20,000。(成為廣告主角居然有這麼多收入，實在太驚人了)。在TJ Maxx廣告合作時，她又熱情地向別人介紹她的作品，看了她的作品的廣告製作人Mark覺得太棒了又介紹她認識在公關公司任職的Jeff，一連串好運跟熱情讓Degen慢慢從藝術家轉變成針織設計品牌。

How she started the business? The first funding is from the commercial income of TJ maxx. How interesting. She show her works around and get the attention of the producer Mark and introduced her to Jeff who working in PR company. All the luck and passion making Degen an uprising star of knit designer.
